"It's gonna be 44 degrees, you ok with that?" was the text I got from Jim Hitt the day before this interview. We were going to shoot in front of Mississippi's Barnett Reservoir, right at sunrise, and it was going to be COLD. But I knew the shot would be worth it. So I texted: "absolutely!" and we went ahead and did this interview.
Jim is a friend who always asks me how I'm doing, treats me to lunch, and constantly encourages me to trust God. He is loving, and intentional, and a blessing to so so many people. His wife asked me to shoot an interview of him sharing some of his God stories (because he has a lot of them), and almost a year after she asked me, I finally got around to doing it!
The sun is rising and the lighting is tricky because it's shifting throughout the interview. But I love the look, and I love all the background noises you can hear. It makes you feel like you're there.
Jim's stories are a blessing, and it was an honor capturing them. Thank you my friend.
